Apex Civil Construction was engaged by the client to construct a new sporting field complex at Dorset Reserve in Croydon, Victoria. The project consisted of both synthetic and natural grass fields for soccer and volleyball. The services we provided for this project included demolition and excavation, stormwater drainage and pavement concrete and surfacing works.

Demolition and Excavation:
– Stripping of existing organic materials
– Stockpiling of topsoil for reuse
– Cut to fill bulk earthworks 22,000 m3
– Preparation of subgrade
– Removal and disposal of redundant in-ground services

Stormwater Drainage:
– Infield drainage system for synthetic field
– Drainage system for volleyball courts

Pavements & Concrete Works:
– Pavement preparation for synthetic turf field and natural turf field 18,000 m2
– Concrete footpaths and goal storage areas

– Landscaping with reclaimed topsoil

– Hydro-seeding
