Apex Civil Construction was engaged to construct a new Athletics Track and Field facility at the Puckapunyal Army Base. Utilising the existing AFL field, Apex efficiently stripped the sporting field profile to repurpose and reuse the existing materials to prepare foundations and construct a new athletics track with multi-use natural turf sporting field inside the centre of track. By working closely with the client, we minimised the disposal and import of materials, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability. We prioritised sourcing crushed rock materials from local quarries to support the community and reduce our environmental footprint. The project also included the installation of a drainage system to effectively manage surface water on both the natural sporting field and the athletics track.

Demolition and Excavation:
